Latest State & Territory nominations update of 190/491 subclasses

The government of ACT has released the new critical ACT skills list with the number of nominated positions available by occupation. Please note that The requirements for ACT residency have changed.

Different criteria apply to applications lodged before and after 1st of July 2020 and after the 18th of August 2020.

The first round of invitations was issued Thursday, 20/08/2020, with 145 invitations made, including 26 to 457/482 holders

Business Visas are also suspended at the moment.

South Australia

The South Australian Government has updated the information on its website with a further statement that, on the 27th of August 2020 it will announce the criteria for state nominations.

Skilled Migration – The review of EOIs and invitations to submit applications will begin on 31st of August in South Australia.

Business Migration – from 7th of September 2020 Intention to Apply submissions will be reviewed and invitations to submit applications made.

Victoria

getting prepared to re-open with new migration policies and nomination criteria to help the regeneration of Victoria’s economy and the public health response. It is recommended that applicants ensure that their EOIs are submitted and are up to date.

No update has been made on the Business visa program though.

Tasmania

The government of Tasmania still has not made any specific announcement about the program of its state other than the changes would mainly concentrate on the state’s public health system and economic development, as all other states have done.

Northern Territory

The Government of the Northern Territory has not released its 2020-21 State / Territory nomination program but continues to accept applications for appointment. Applications are closed for offshore applicants.

Governments of NSW, Western Australia & Queensland still have not made any statement on its states program
